Vehicle Description
1983 Mercedes-Benz 300TD Turbo is finished in Light Ivory over
Palomino MB-Tex upholstery and is powered by a 3.0-liter
turbodiesel inline-five mated to a four-speed automatic
transmission. Equipment includes a sunroof, roof rails, 14? Bundt
wheels, power windows, cruise control, automatic climate control,
and a Pioneer Bluetooth radio. This car has remained in the state
of California throughout its lifetime. After I acquired the vehicle
in June of 2021, subsequent work included fluid changes, recharging
the air-conditioning system, replacing engine hoses and gaskets,
brake pads, windshield seals, engine and transmission mounts, and
more, as described below. This S123 has service records, a clean
Carfax report, and a clean California title. The body is finished
in Light Ivory (623U), and the equipment includes chrome-accented
bumpers, roof rails, mirror caps, window trim, and Silver-finished
14? Bundt wheels. During my time with the vehicle, I was able to
replace the battery, change multiple hoses and gaskets, replace the
window and windshield seals, power steering box was adjusted, the
brake fluid was flushed, and the rear suspension accumulators,
brake hoses, and front brake pads were replaced. I also replaced
the motor mounts and power-cleaned the undercarriage. The cabin
features seats trimmed in Palomino MB-Tex upholstery and a
color-coordinated lower dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Wood
trim accents the dashboard and center console, and additional
equipment includes automatic climate control, cruise control,
central locking, and power windows. I recharged the
air-conditioning system in 2022. There is a four-spoke steering
wheel frame, an instrument cluster consisting of a 125-mph
speedometer, a clock, and a combination gauge indicating coolant
temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The six-digit mechanical
odometer shows just over 185k miles. Service records that date back
to the 90s are included with the sale.
