Vehicle Description
1956 Studebaker Golden Hawk, 352 automatic, this car is UNRESTORED,
looks like no wrecks and no bondo, looks like original paint and
interior, with 69K miles, if your a Classic car person or
especially a Studebaker collector you know what finding a 56 Golden
Hawk unrestored in this condition is like ..... this is basically a
'Unicorn'. Google says there are only 250 of these left and none in
this unrestored condition (see picture). The story behind this car
is that it was in a collection of about 25 Studebakers, the owner
passed away and left this Golden Hawk in his estate for his
daugther. She drove it a couple of times and then it set in her
garage, up on a lift, for about the next 20 years. (The collector
started to repaint a few panels which he removed the paint down to
the factory primer, that's why a few panels of the white paint has
primer.) Since getting it and cleaning the dust off it has had
basically all of the mechanicals gone through ..... fuel system,
brake system, fluids and lights, etc. Basically anything that was
able to be rebuilt was rebuilt and anything else that was needed to
get it back on the road was bought new. This is one solid vehicle
top to bottom for being almost 70 years old, it still has most of
its factory undercoating also. The purchase will also include a
trunk full of spare and extra parts, including shop manual and
owners manual (see picture). I also have a walk around video of it
running on facebook marketplace. I honestly am not sure whether it
should be restored or left alone, but it is at a point now for the
next owner to make that decision. I can go through all the parts we
refurbed or bought new to get it back on the road or try and answer
any other questions you may have, but I don't know any more history
of the car besides what I have already stated earlier. Please Note
