Looking for a 40's hot rod? Total invested 10 years one day a week. It has only been driven a couple times on the road in about 40 years. This car had been sitting indoors for the last 22 years at a technical college. The previous owner was a certified mechanic. This car needs someone with patients, time and a love for Mopar flatheads. The engine is strong and well built , it didn't run when I got it, but I know these engines run forever . It needs to go sadly, so I can get my Model A hot rod going. I've priced it low.
Here are some items to consider as a priority to do to finish completely.
Get dust cover for clutch
fix oil leak (its a flathead 6 maybe rear main)
get alignment (all new steering & suspension)
adjust carbs
needs interior panels and seat covers
1st and reverse linkage needs adjustment.
needs another windshield ( I broke it putting it in)
Hood needs adjustment and trim missing (I have the bumpers)
It drives and runs, but not road worthy yet (items listed above). New everything ( frame off resto mod), rebuilt flathead 6 with race cam balanced, ported and bored 0.030 over, front disc brakes, drop spindles, triple carbs, all new glass, new wire harness and paint is decent (a few scratches & one body filler crack).
All new weather stripping included.
