This is a beautiful and pretty rare 2001 Jaguar XJR featuring the Supercharged 4.0 V8 with 370 hp. It does need some work but is priced accordingly.
This car was purchased by a true car enthusiast in 2004 from a Jaguar dealership in TN. He owned the car until his passing in 2017 at which time it was owned by his son who barely drove the car and unfortunately it sat most of the time. Sadly, the son also passed recently and I am helping the family find a new owner. The body is in excellent condition overall and I have a clean carfax report showing it never had any accidents. The clear coat is showing age in several spots on the trunk and roof but as you will see the car holds a beautiful shine otherwise and was recently detailed.
Interior is luxurious Black leather and in beautiful condition with very minor wear on the drivers seat. The dash is in perfect condition with no cracks. Nicely equipped as you would expect from a luxury Jaguar and everything seems to function although I think the A/c needs a charge. This Jag has a little over 187,000 miles and was always well maintained but unfortunately from sitting has suffered a bit and will need some work believed to be minor. check engine and Trac control lights are on but the car runs great and motor is very smooth. The family believes it may need some O2 sensors. tires are dry rotted and will need to be replaced. In general it should be gone through to be truly road worthy for daily driving. It does not currently pass emissions but is titled in a county where emissions are not required.
If you are familiar with this model you know it is a special car that was built to perform. As mentioned, it does need some work but will be a great car once the minor items are attended to.
