two-door, a true American Icon. During the sixties and seventies,
the Caprice reigned as the most popular full-sized American car,
available in various body styles, including 2-door, 4-door, and
wagon, with a plethora of engine and transmission options to cater
to diverse preferences. This particular Caprice embodies the
pinnacle of comfort and convenience, featuring factory-added power
steering, power brakes, and air conditioning, providing all the
creature-comforts desired. With only 58,000 miles on the odometer,
it has been preserved quite well.
Crafted during the first generation the Caprice, the 1968 model's
body style was only produced for two years. The '68 model boasts
distinct body changes, showcasing more rounded body lines, a
revised grille, an updated instrument panel, and a new steering
wheel. Critics widely acclaim this version as the most visually
appealing Caprice model produced during its long and illustrious
run.
