For Sale at Auction: 1969 GMC 2500 in New Orleans, Louisiana
This 1969 GMC custom pickup known as "Chillipepper" received a
professional frame-off restoration with modern upgrades by New
England Muscle Cars out of Lakeville, MA. This custom GMC pickup
rides on a factory GMC short-bed chassis upgraded with CPP drop
spindles, Western Chassis deluxe 4-inch front, 6-inch rear lowering
kit, Belltech Street Performance lowering shocks, Borgeson Street
Performance power steering box and a POL front sway-bar kit. The
truck is powered by an LS engine equipped with a BTR Truck Norris
cam, Holley front runner system, TSP Velocity intake manifold and a
Holley low-profile oil pan. The engine is mated to a rebuilt 4L60
4-speed automatic transmission. The engine is controlled by a
Holley Terminator X engine management system and spent gases exit
through a set of headers connected to a custom dual exhaust system.
Other upgrades include power disc brakes, Trique Manufacturing door
latches, and a Boyds rear mount fuel tank with Fat Fender Garage
billet fuel door. The bed has been protected with RAPTOR Liner.
All-new chrome and trim throughout the entire truck. The interior
features a custom Snowden seat, custom steel door panels from JL
Fabrication, a Vintage Air system, Dakota Digital gauges, and a
custom stereo system with JVC head unit and Blaupunkt speakers.
This truck rides on Ridler 20-inch 605 Series wheels wrapped in
Nitto tires. The build was completed in August and has test miles
only.
