GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1953 Buick Special 4
door sedan. The Buick Special was conceived in 1938 as an
affordable, entry level mid sized family minded car. for Model year
1950, the car, like most others, received a radical redesign and
was considered the first fully postwar design for the series. The
new design took on the idea of a new area in Post War American
history.
The 1953 Buick Special 4 door Sedan offered here is powered by the
legendary 263 CID "Fireball Straight 8", 2 Speed dynaflow
transmission and rear wheel drive. The car is painted in 2 tone
Garnet Red and Black exterior paint scheme. The interior features
bench seat, original and complete highly trimmed dash, Buick Radio,
Column shift automatic shifter, original steering wheel and horn
ring, etc. The seats have been re-upholstered and are in excellent
condition. The exterior features an older repaint; the trim,
bumpers and other bright-work are complete and appear original.
Under the hood is clean and the motor has been freshly painted.
Underneath the car reveals the original unmolested "X" frame and
underside revealing an excellent solid core structure.
