This Coronet is equipped with a real 1963 426 Ram Charger V8 with max wedge carburetor package. Exterior Highlights
The exterior of this Coronet is flat out stunning. The body of the car is laser straight and the high gloss black paint has the wet look and is excellent. All the trim on the car is excellent and all the chrome is excellent. The front grill and headlight surround is excellent. The car has an awesome stance and is set off by the sharp wheel and tire combination that lets you know this isn’t your average Coronet. The car has two distinct looks with or without the like new, new old stock hub caps. The lights and lenses on the car are clear and fresh looking as is the entire vehicle. Overall the exterior is show quality as the photos show.
Interior Highlights
The interior of the car is eye popping, the bright Red and white interior is like new and really sets the whole car off. The super comfortable bench seat is excellent. The dash on the car is reminiscent of a time when attention to detail was still alive, it is very sharp. The vehicle is also equipped with an auxillary gauge package to monitor the important stuff and a steering wheel mounted Sun tachometer. All the details have been taken care of on this car, the dash, door sills, door panels, and all the hardware are excellent. The car has an excellent chrome steering column with tilt wheel. All the interior hardware is in excellent and functional shape. The trunk, as the pictures show, is in excellent shape. Overall the interior is like the rest of the car, is in show condition!!
Mechanical Highlights
The rest of the vehicle is awesome but the drivetrain on this car is what really makes it stand out in the crowd. This vehicle is equipped with a ground pounding 426 Ram Charger motor with the Max Wedge Cross Ram set up with two max wedge 3705 600 CFM 4 barrel carburetors and a solid lifter cam. The vehicle has factory max wedge heads with 10:1 compression and solid roller 576 lift. On top of that the car is equipped with a smooth shifting 833 4-speed manual transmission with Hurst competition plus shifter, just the way you would want one. The transmission was completely rebuilt. The car is equipped with Dougs ceramic coated headers with new 3” dual exhaust with flow masters that gives it a great hot rod sound. This muscle car is equipped with a 3:91 suregrip rear end. The car is equipped with an MSD ignition. The engine has numerous polished aluminum and chrome additions to give it a good clean show car look. The car is equipped with power steering and power front disc brakes. This vehicle is equip with a be cool aluminum radiation. The vehicle is equipped with a March pulley system. The undercarriage of the vehicle is very solid and excellent.
