Vehicle Description
Fuel Required is pleased to present this stunning 1941 Cadillac
Fleetwood Series 60 Special sedan in our McDonald, PA showroom.
This timepiece has had a beautiful older restoration and remains in
excellent condition. The car possesses Cadillac's 346 ci flathead
V8 which is legendary in its smoothness, torque and durability
especially when coupled with the very desirable 3-speed manual
transmission. The odometer reads 37,521 miles. This was a frame-on
restoration, and it is mostly original on the underside, but there
are no signs of deterioration, especially in the wooden rocker
sills which is so critical to a 60 Special. Important areas like
the floors at the base of the A-pillar and the spare tire well are
completely solid and everything is protected by a layer of
undercoating. The black paint is deep and glossy, applied over
super straight bodywork that is every bit as good as it looks. All
four doors and trunk shut with reassuring solidity and that giant
clamshell hood fits neatly between the front fenders. The chrome
and stainless brightwork is excellent, particularly the pot metal
parts like the grille and side inserts on the hood. It also sports
optional factory fog lights, an accessory spotlight and a working
back-up light. The tan interior is pure Cadillac luxury from the
1940's, with plush seats as comfortable as any living room sofa
accompanied by beautiful details throughout. The interior also
features a burled walnut woodgrain pattern on the dash, an
intricate steering wheel and symmetrical instruments that put the
speedometer right in front of the driver. The car retains the
original clock and radio, both of which are not functional at this
time. Fuel Required always recommends and welcomes personal or
professional inspections of any vehicle in our inventory prior to
