For Sale: 1971 Datsun 240Z in Pleasant hill, California

Vehicle Description

Datsun 240z Series 1. A three owner California car sold new at Campbell Datsun here in the bay area. This car was purchased by the current owner in 2002 from a friend whose uncle was the original owner. We have the original manual with the plastic owners card and the original import paperwork. This would likely be a 70 based on the VIN but was regitsered as a 71 due to the date it was sold. The car retains its original motor as per the data plate and engine stamping, All of the original vins and plates are intact.  There is no significant rust on the vehicle and the panels are all original and factory straight. the current owner has done the following work.. Respray in Silver. This is an original 901 code Metallic Silver car. Panasport 16" wheels. rebuilt front suspensoin with urethane bushings and Toxico Struts and shocks.  Rebuilt transmission, new exhaust. Aluminum radiator. rebuilt the rear brakes. the car is also lowered 1.5". The owner has the original steering wheel and the dash does have a cap on it. The owner also has all of the original emblems. This is a great car to take to the next level.
