1961 Chevrolet Impala Sport Coupe ((Bubble Top). Car is in good overall condition and has a great stance. The exterior is in good shape. The paint is an original color (Fawn Beige) and might be the original paint job. Paint has lots of patina and can look better with lots of rubbing compound work. Chrome, aluminum trim, and glass in very good shape. There is no visible dents or rust. Car has very nice American Racing brushed aluminum rims and low profile tires. All the doors and windows and the hood and truck work fine.
The interior is in good shape as well. The upholstery is in fair shape and is either the original or an older exact replacement. The front seats are very worn, and the back seats are less worn. The carpet is near-new as are the door panels. The dash and interior painted parts look very good. The interior medal trim is complete and in good shape. The gauges do not work but the interior lights do work as does the headlights, turn signals, brake lights, etc.
The car is a blast to drive, it runs and rides well. The exhaust sounds great. It has a 283 (original motor I believe) and a 350 turbo hydramatic transmission. The engine runs well but has a lifter ticking. The transmission shifts hard into 3rd gear when cold but smoothes out after operating for a while. The car has power disc brakes in the front. The car does not have power steering. This car is a great collector and driver.
Photos provided were from when I bought the car a few years ago and had it inspected. Car looks the same today.
