The Plymouth Roadrunner is an impressive muscle car that has been
popular since the day it was released. With its powerful engine,
aggressive design, and affordability, it became a symbol of
performance and excitement during a time when horsepower ruled the
roads of America.Built on the B-body platform, the Road Runner was
introduced as a mid-level option trim for the Plymouth Belvedere
model in 1968. It was named after the famous Warner Bros. cartoon
character who was known for his speed and agility. The idea behind
the Road Runner was to create a car that offered impressive
performance without breaking the bank. Its appearance was bold with
its prominent grille, distinctive hood scoop, and wide rear end.
The Road Runner exuded power and athleticism. It was a no-frills,
high thrill muscle car but the biggest thrill was under the
hood!This 1969 Plymouth Road Runner is most impressive as it has
had a full restoration with careful attention given to details. The
car was built at the Lynch Road, Michigan plant. The exterior is
the original Bahama Yellow paint, and it is in excellent condition
with no flaws. The contrasting black paint was done extremely well
and exhibits the 383 hood badges. Body is straight and solid with
no filler or rust.Interior is the black bench seat interior that is
in excellent condition. The carpet is black as well. The dash is in
excellent condition with very clear gauges. The headliner is black
and shows very well with no sagging or tears.The engine is the
original 383 CID and is paired with the 4-speed manual
transmission. Shifter is the Hurst shifter. Under the hood, you
will find a very clean, pristine engine compartment that is show
ready. Options on this car include an AM radio that works, heat,
fuel gauge, temperature gauge, and a Sun Super Tachometer. Look
underneath the car, and you will see how clean the undercarriage
is! This Plymouth Road Runner is never driven in rain, and, it has
always been garaged.Documentation includes Galen Report and
restoration photos and receipts. This is a superb muscle car that
