What does "RESTOMOD actually mean? Well... it's probably different
to everyone but its true meaning is "RESTORED MODIFIED" and this
beautiful 1968 Camaro is exactly that!
It was recently "Frame-Off" restored and very tastefully "Modified"
from original inside and out. Purchased out of a collection of a
true car guy who decided it was time to thin out the heard. He told
us that he truly loved this car because it is so much fun to drive
and he got thumbs-up everywhere he went but since it was not a
"Pedigree" it was the first to go. I get it but this car is really
nice and very well done so his loss could be your gain! CHECK IT
OUT!!
The body is super straight, solid and clean including the new
1-piece floor, trunk and frame all of which looks to have been
professionally installed. The "Midnight Blue" base/clear paint is
absolutely gorgeous! It is slick and smooth with a deep luster and
show car shine. We just buffed and polished it and applied a 1-year
ceramic coating to preserve that shine too. It also has all new
chrome and trim and all the glass has been tinted. The custom
bucket seat interior is also all new and was very tastefully done.
The original seat was custom made using optional deluxe 2nd gen.
Camaro cloth inserts that are surrounded in glove leather. It also
has all new carpet, headliner, dash, door panels, factory console
with working gauge package, in-dash "Tic-Toc" tach, tilt steering
and a CD stereo with Bluetooth! It is all very-very nice!! Power
comes from what appears to be a "ZZ-4" G.M.P.P. (GENERAL MOTORS
PERFORMANCE PARTS) crate motor which is a 355c.i. -355h.p. small
block engine. It has a few goodies added like ceramic coated
headers, electric water pump, MSD ignition and that's just to name
a few, All this is backed up by a 700R4 automatic overdrive
transmission and a 12 bolt posi-traction rear with 3:73 gears.
Other features include power steering, power disc brakes (front
only) cold "Vintage" air conditioning,17" chrome "Foose" wheels and
Pypes custom dual exhaust.
This is truly an absolutely beautiful, professionally built and
restored 1968 Camaro "RESTO-MOD" that will not disappoint!! DON'T
MISS IT!!
