is an amazing 1970 Pontiac GTO. This car has been well restored to
its original condition. The drivetrain is numbers matching and the
originality of the car is well documented with Pontiac Historical
Services paperwork and the car's original build sheet. Included in
the sale are notes on the restoration as well as photos documenting
the drivetrain numbers. This car was built with some unique option
arrangements that certainly add to the collectability of this
stunning convertible. The body was painted in the original Polar
White hue and applied over well-executed bodywork. The finish was
polished to shine with a rich luster. The white power top was
professionally installed, and the rear bumper chrome and factory
stainless trim all have been restored and polished to a brilliant
glow. The trunk is accurately restored with trunk spatter paint and
felt trunk floor mat. The original factory spare tire and bumper
jack tools are all present. The factory Rally II wheels have been
restored to the correct colors and are decorated with PMD center
caps, black dot lug nuts, and chrome trim rings rolling on Cooper
Cobra Radial G/T tires. The tan interior was restored with new seat
upholstery and door panels all sourced from Legendary Interiors and
new carpet. The dashpad is original along with the A-pillar
moldings, sun visors, and seat headrests. The woodgrain dash nicely
accents the interior with a touch of luxury. Options include a
dash-mounted clock, factory AM/FM radio, tilt steering with the
deluxe steering wheel, a power driver's seat, a remote driver's
mirror, and air conditioning. One of the rare option combinations
on this GTO is the column shifter with the bucket seats. Under the
hood is well detailed including correct factory decals, markings,
and even the correct GM part numbers on the coolant hoses. The
factory under hood lamp is present and fully functional
spotlighting the factory YS code 400 cid 350 hp motor that has been
fully rebuilt. The chrome factory air cleaner and valve covers add
a little extra bling under the hood Pontiac style. The factory A/C
has been rebuilt with all new hoses and a Delco compressor. The
power is transferred through a GM 400 Turbo Hydra-Matic 3-speed
automatic transmission back to the GM 10 bolt differential fitted
with 3.23:1 rear gears. The details continue underneath with the
correct factory markings and assembly decals. All the brake and
fuel lines and emergency cables have been replaced along with the
fuel tank. This car features the optional HD suspension which
includes front and rear sway bars with boxed rear lower control
arms. Other options include power steering and brakes with front
discs. All the steering and suspension components have been
accurately coated to closely resemble the way the car appeared when
it left the Baltimore Maryland Assembly plant en route to Marbert
Motors, a Pontiac dealer in Annapolis Maryland. This car is simply
stunning in its color combination and is ready to cruise as well as
be admired on the show field at car shows. Please call if
