Vehicle Description
This custom 1966 Chevrolet C10 pickup is powered by a 5.7-liter LS1
V8 engine mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission. The engine has
modified valve covers refinished in black that were installed in
September 2022. Other features include an aluminum radiator with
electric fans, a dual exhaust system with MagnaFlow mufflers and
electronic cutouts ahead of the mufflers, and an aluminum fuel tank
at the rear. Classic Performance Products 4-wheel disc brakes have
been installed in the front and rear, along with tubular front
control arms and rear coil springs. The truck has been refinished
in red with a white roof, pillars, grille and tailgate lettering,
along with white-accented bodyside moldings. The bed floor has been
redone with wood planks and stainless-steel runners, and bed-liner
material was applied to the wheel tubs and interior of the
tailgate. It rides on gray 19-inch American Racing Salt Flat wheels
with polished outer lips mounted with 245/45 front and 285/40 rear
red line tires. The interior features a replacement contoured bench
seat with black upholstery and red stitching. An air-conditioning
system has been added, along with a retro-style Bluetooth stereo
and a Lokar shifter with a line-lock function. The heater control
valve was replaced in September 2022. The 3-spoke steering wheel
sits ahead of Dakota Digital VHX instrumentation with a 160-mph
speedometer, an 8,000-rpm tachometer, four auxiliary gauges and a
digital clock.
