This previous 1-Owner "Original & Unrestored" 1966 Mk1-A Sunbeam Tiger was built 12/23/1965. This is a number's matching car purchased by the original owner 8/21/1968 as a "New Vehicle Demo" with 700 Miles. It was titled at that time as a 1967 and remains that way today. It stayed with the Original Owner until 6/21/2011. I purchased the car 2/22/2012.
The paint is Original as seen by the paint gauge photo's. There is one touch up on the lower passenger door done at the dealer before delivery from a scratch.
The Interior, seat covers, dash, gauges, steering wheel, main carpets are all original. The mats have been replaced in period. The top is original without tears. The rear window did not survive but car comes with factory embossed correct replacement.
Original spare, tool kit, jack and trunk boards are original. Rare Original Aeramic Wiper Bades
All paperwork to document this incredible find is with car including Bill of Sale, Service documents supporting the mileage, Rootes Warranty, Owners Manual, Shop Manual and Dealers Key Fob and of course Sunbeam Tiger TAC Certificate showing "Original Rivets" on Data Tag.
The front suspension has been refreshed as well as the brakes & brake booster. The 1968 dated Koni shocks were dealer installed, checked and reinstalled.
**Please Note. This car has 1 0f 2 sets of "Rare Halibrand Magnesium" 13" Tiger Bolt-On Race Wheels known to exist of possibly 12 sets produced like the Ken Miles Tiger Wheels used in Knock Off form. The Tires are currently Dunlop Race L65's 5.50x13.
The car runs perfect. The long video was done on purpose to show operating temps and oil pressure to perfection in the Arizona 97 degree heat.
