1985 Chevrolet Corvette amazing condition 1985 version of America's
sports car. A powerful tuned port 5.7 Liter V8 powerplaint and
improved exhaust system are just a few performance enhancements for
this year versus the previous year. Exterior molded plastic crash
bumpers. This Corvette sports the lowest angle windshield rake to
this date. This body shares many of the features of the soon to
come supercar killer, the ZR1. Hidden headlights, a black belt line
black molding, and sloping greenhouse rear glass that flows down
from the REMOVABLE targa style ROOF, all working to accentuate the
sleek lines. Further investigation reveals body matching integrated
bumpers front and rear, and aerodynamic straight fiberglass panels
with well minded gaps throughout. Simple badging, and round-ish
inset tail lights with dual tipped exhaust are seen on the rear of
the car. Turbine style 'salad shooter' 16-inch alloy wheels are on
all 4 corners and are wrapped in new blackwalls. Interior
Mesmerizing Graphite carpeted mats cover near pristine Graphite
carpet that floods the floors and the back trunk area, and it is a
deep, deep hue in very good condition. Black center console/storage
unit houses the shifter for the 4-speed automatic transmission,
power windows, toggles, climate control, AM/FM stereo, and a data
center with a screen to display information regarding temperatures
and other key components of the engine. A digital display is seen
in front of the original leather wrapped steering wheel for engine
rpm, speed and oil pressure, volts, and fuel range. Controls for
the power locks and wipers are on the drivers door along with a
wonderful mix of gray plastic, gray carpet and courtesy lamps.
Drivetrain A 350ci 240 horsepower, Tuned-Port fuel injected L98 V8
engine rests within the engine bay which is very clean. The rear
axle has a 3.07 limited slip gear ratio as part of the G92
Performance Axle Ratio. Undercarriage Very clean, well maintained,
rust free, structurally sound.
