We recently had the opportunity to buy back this gorgeous "1969
Nova Pro-Street Show Car" that we originally bought and sold in
2007. We initially bought it from the builder and his wife who
painstakingly and lovingly built and designed it and completed and
commissioned it in 2000. We were told that this beautiful Nova was
specifically built for the Super Chevy Show Car circuit and that it
has won countless awards and car shows up and down the East Coast.
It was also featured in Super Chevy Magazine in June of
2000.(magazine copy available) The folks we sold it to in 2007 took
great care of the car as it runs, drives and looks as nice now as
it did then. CHECK IT OUT!!
This car is not your ordinary backyard build. It was well thought
out and designed before anything was touched. The body is extremely
straight, solid and clean with perfect gaps and fitment. It has
some very tasteful but mild modifications that were added to it
like the drip rails have been molded into the roof and the 5" cowl
"Glasstek" hood was fitted and finished to open in reverse like a
Corvette. It is really cool! Underneath the car is also very nice
and all custom built including the smoothed and painted sub-frame
and floors. It is also mini-tubbed with the original rear leaf
spring suspension that was relocated, and all looks to have been
professionally installed as well including the trunk that was
alsocustom built to house the fuel cell. It is all very-very nice
and extremely well done!
The paint is absolutely beautiful and is "a work of art"!!
Actually, the builder's wife who is a "desktop artist" came up with
the custom colors and designed the graphics. Her husband, the
builder/painter is obviously super talented as well to be able to
lay down paint and graphics like this. It is all really-really nice
!! The custom bucket seat interior was also tastefully done in
tweed to match the outside colors. We did notice that the front
seats were replaced with more comfortable adjustable seats but the
easy access rollbar, full back seat, door panels, dash and
headliner are all as it was initially built and designed, and it is
all still very-very nice!!
Power comes from a strong running 355 c.i. small block that sounds
awesome thru its ceramic coated headers and custom 3" side exiting
Flow-Master exhaust! It is backed up by a TH-350 automatic
transmission wi
