Ford introduced the De Luxe Line in 1938, giving the public an upscale alternative to the Standard build and luxury Lincolns. One of the distinguishing features on the 1940 is the three-part grille with horizontal bars.

This 2 Door was resto modified, before being purchased by the last owner, and has spent the last 5 years in the Tucson area, always garaged, and well maintained. It features a Ford 302 V-8, with a single 4 barrel carburetor, and hooked up with a 3 speed automatic transmission. And what makes it so easy to drive, it has the convenience of power steering, power brakes, and even air conditioning. And you can operate the front windows with the ease of a power switch, which makes cruising with the windows up or down a snap. They even added an electric cooling fan to the radiator, so when you are slow driving in that local parade or at a car show, you don't have to worry about overheating.
