Vehicle Description
This delightful 1957 Mercedes-Benz 190SL was acquired by its
current owner in 1969, and has been lovingly preserved. This
Mercedes W121 roadster is powered by a 1.9-liter 4-cylinder engine
mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. The vehicle is finished in
sophisticated brown over light cream beige leather. This iconic
roadster underwent a comprehensive restoration in the 1980s when
its color was changed, and its engine was also rebuilt by the owner
at this time. Equipment includes a beige convertible soft top,
Weber carburetors, original wheels and hubcaps, and a cassette
stereo. This 190SL benefits from recent servicing, rebuilding of
the carburetors, brand new BFGoodrich whitewall tires, and new
interior carpet. The original Solex carburetors, cast aluminum
intake manifold, and numerous spare parts are also included with
this Mercedes 190SL. This exceptional opportunity to own a 190SL is
complete with several binders of literature and records, including
190-specific books and magazines, plus detailed maintenance
materials, as well as a clean California title.
