1942 ford 21 t
In Feb. of 1942, by order of the president and congress, Ford halted all production of civilian vehicles. They re tooled their assemble lines and began production of equipment for the war effort. By doing so the had the smallest number of civilian production vehicles in the companies history.
This is a 1942 ford 21 t truck. It is completely intact with complete drive line. The truck was stripped down to bare metal and then primed to protect the original steel. It has small dings and dents, which you would expect on an 81 year old truck, but it is all metal with no body puddy.
We bought this truck from the second owner in South Dakota. He stated that it had been running up until about two years ago. It has been stored inside most of its life. We were going to restore it to give grandkids rides in, but we just found out we have another grandchild on the way, so it's not big enough! Because of this happy situation we are offering it for sale.
It will come with a clean Nebraska title.
