1979 was the end of the road for the Beetle Convertible. Production was already low as the once desirable Beetle Convertible was getting tired. Many of these cars fell into collections or simply used sparingly knowing this would be the last one and wanted to make it last. Our 1979 River Blue Convertible pictured here was just such a car! Only 24,000 actual, original miles have been added since selling new in 79. This beautiful little convertible runs and drives great and is a pleasure to drive. A recent full service was recently done and we just installed a fresh round of white wall tires. Factory Blaupunkt AM/FM Stereo Cassette and newer Blaupunkt speakers. Factory in dash clock.
