Vehicle Description
ONLY 29 Miles!!! Classic Car Addict would like to present this 1987
Buick Grand National with 29 original miles in our Mesa| AZ
showroom. The Buick was conveyed new to Marx Chevrolet-Buick in
Gilroy| CA. Without a doubt| the Grand National is one of the most
sinister and desirable cars ever made! Enthusiasts look back on the
1960s with twinkled eyes and nostalgia. Indeed| well never see an
era like it again. Yet| its hard to overlook how Buick overcame
regulations and challenges to make a muscle car for a new|
restricted era. The Buick Grand National was a true muscle car.
EXTERIOR This Buick is extremely clean inside and out! The Grand
National styling prompts include dark paint and trim| an
inconspicuous hood cowl| and uncommon front and back spoilers. This
model holds a few pre-conveyance assessment decals. You could also
get the Grand National in any color you wanted| as long as it was
black. INTERIOR Inside| the driver is greeted by reclining bucket
seats| a leather-wrapped steering wheel| and a full-length
operating console. Perfect for storing those Whitesnake and Genesis
cassettes you like to crank up while cruising through town. The
interior features two-tone dark and dim fabric with dark covering
and weaved logos on the headrests. The instrumentation comprises of
a level speedometer| and advanced tachometer and a 5-digit odometer
showing 29 miles. The protective plastic covers the fronts|
steering wheel and the drivers side entryway board. The AC blows
super cold| automatic windows and locks| GM-Delco AM/FM/cassette
radio and lights are all in working order. POWERTRAIN 1987 was the
pinnacle for the Grand National. Power comes from a turbocharged
3.8-liter V6 engine| producing 245HP with 355 ft lbs. of torque|
mated to a turbo-hydramatic 200R4 4-speed programmed automatic
transmission and restricted slip differential. The Carfax report
contains two service records show battery| fuel siphon and liquid
substitutions in 2003 and 2014. No history of accidents or other
damage. CHASSIS Handling is a relative term; this is a nose-heavy
car with a live rear axle and power-assisted recirculating-ball
steering. There is not a lot of steering feedback| but it's nicely
weighted| and the leather-stitched steering wheel feels meaty in
your hand. It's not hard to overpower the tires during hard
cornering| but the Grand National does well enough for what it is.
You may not want to drive one every day| but you could; given its
smooth ride quality. Front brakes: vented disc; rear: drum.
Suspension front: control arms| coil springs; rear: live axle| coil
springs. This Grand National rides on chrome-plated 15-inch wheels|
mounted with Goodyear Eagle GT tires. DOCUMENTATION/EXTRAS The sale
incorporates an affixed window sticker and a proprietors manual and
guarantee booklet| as well as spare parts and memorabilia. Vehicle
will be sold on a clean Arizona title. Be sure to check out 100+ HD
