This 1970 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am was delivered new to Coggins
Pontiac of Curham, North Carolina! Finished in a stunning Lucerne
Blue and paired with its Deluxe Lucerne Blue interior! It was
picked up in Maryland before its complete restoration under
previous ownership in Tennessee! Equipment includes power-assisted
front disc brakes, variable-ratio steering, 15? Rally II wheels, a
shaker hood, a dual-outlet exhaust system, air conditioning, a
center console, and a Delco AM/FM radio with a rear speaker.
The three-spoke Formula steering wheel frames Rally instrumentation
in a turned-aluminum dash panel including a 160-mph speedometer and
a tachometer with an integrated clock. The gauges were overhauled
during the refurbishment. The odometer shows 87 miles and was set
to 0 at the time of the restoration! Power is sent to the rear
wheels through a three-speed Turbo Hydra-matic automatic
transmission and a Safe-T-Track differential!
