This 1977 Jeep CJ-7 is an all steel and really clean Jeep that
spent its life in California. This Jeep was built to be a
dependable cruiser as well as an off road capable rig. A lot has
been done to this CJ and they are some really cool upgrades and
modifications. The restoration and the work was done a few years
ago so it has all been tested and it still looks excellent!! The
body on this Jeep is extra clean. It used to be gold, but it was
repainted dark green. It was a quality paint job and it was painted
inside and out. The paint still looks great!! It has an aftermarket
front bumper with an 8,000 pound Ramsey Winch that works well. It
has rock sliders with built in steps on both sides. The underside
is very clean and we found no rust issues with this CJ. It has a
nice fibreglass hard top with hard doors and also comes with half
soft doors and a bikini top.
The interior is basic but nice. It has newer aftermarket bucket
seats, a Tuffy center console, and a full custom roll cage. The
headlights, taillights, brakelights, and turn signals are all
working. The gauges work and the wipers, horn, and heat all work.
This Jeep comes with half soft doors and a tow bar for pulling it
behind a vehicle.
Mechanically this Jeep is awesome!!! It has an AMC 304 V8 engine
that runs strong with a mild cam. It was rebuilt but we did not
receive paperwork for it. It has a rebuilt carb, electronic
ignition, and custom exhaust that sounds great!! The transmission
is the T18 4 Speed manual that shifts nice with a good clutch. It
is mated to the Dana 20 transfer case and the 4WD works like it
should. The rear axle is the AMC 20 with 3,73 gears, detroit
locker, and a Warn full floating axle kit. The front axle is a Dana
30 with 3.73 gears. This Jeep has a Power Disc Brake conversion
done to it which is nice. It Had a new 4 Inch all spring lift kit
installed with new shocks, heavy duty shackles, and new bushings.
This also has onboard air for you die hard Jeep people. This is all
sitting on a like new set of steel wheels and Geolandar 33 Inch All
terrain tires. Awesome rig!!!
