Vehicle Description
The Ferrari 365 GTC/4 is grand tourer produced by Ferrari from 1971
to 1972.In the very short two-year production run around 500
examples of the GTC/4 were produced. With its wedge shape, fastback
silhouette, sharp creases and hidden headlamps the GTC/4's styling
clearly reflects the 365 GTB/4 "Daytona" it was based on. Power
steering, electric windows and air conditioning were standard.
On January 3, 1972 this vehicle was Delivered new to official
dealer Motor S.a.s. di Carla Allegretti e C. of Rome, Italy and on
January 4, 1972 registered on Italian license plates "Roma H
76846". It spent its early life in Italy, and in 1977 it was
exported from Italy to Sun International of Redondo Beach, CA. An
engine rebuild and mechanical restoration work was commission by a
recent owner which included upgraded valves, valve guides, rings,
timing chains, chain tensioners, hoses/lines, clutch bearing and
refaced disc, transmission and rear end seals, freshened radiator,
new a/c condenser, dryer, expansion valve and compressor with R134a
conversion, overhauled brake system, new wheel bearings, starter
rebuild, all within the last 4000 miles. Additionally the knock
offs were re-plated, new belts, headlights and battery were
replaced and new Pirelli P5's were fitted.
365 GTC/4's are a drivers car. This is a great example which runs
and drives especially well. She is priced to sell and would be an
ideal addition to any growing collection or a perfect dive into
classic Ferrari V12 ownership.
