1965 Chevrolet C-10 Custom Short Bed Big Window Step Side PU. DGT
8431 VIN. C154 5Z128431 Set up with a fresh Chevy 350 engine. 700 R
4 transmission. Power steering. Power front disc brakes. New rotors
and calipers. Master cylinder and power booster. New ball joints A
arm bushings and tie rods. The front clip is a bolt in from a 1976
C-10 Chevy front end. 12 bolt 307 rear end. Chrome rally wheels.
The truck was converted to a short bed PU. Originally from
California with a 6 cylinder engine. Cold blowing AC. Power windows
with the vent windows deleted. Autometer gauges. Bench seat with
seat belts. The finish on this PU is great. The paint is beautiful.
Very straight. The only thing I found on the trim was very minor
and a touch up on the right door at the bottom. The chrome looks
brand new. Custom grill looks great. The interior is finished very
nicely. The underside is very solid and it's just the way we bought
it. We have not detailed this PU at all. It came out of Montana
That is where all the work was done. The bed wood is "so so". Nice
tonneau cover. I drove it about 60 miles and it's an easy driving
truck. The speedo shows 2,939 miles.
