this 2017 Ford F150 Shelby Super Snake! It's big, black, beautiful,
and just plain bad to the bone! One of only 150 made in 2017, this
truck is sure to be a solid investment and a standout in any
collection. When this truck was built as an F150 it had a window
sticker of $65,965, but after its trip to the talented folks at
Shelby that price had risen to $99,995. This truck comes to us
today dressed in its original color of Shadow Black and looking
spectacular. The paint is exceptionally nice and glossy with almost
no signs of being driven - but with only 26K miles on the odometer
that's little surprise. Silver Shelby full-body rally stripes run
from nose to tail and add contrast to the deep black paint. The
hood features functional dual ram-air intakes with "Supercharged"
logos on the sides. "SHELBY" lettering graces the front lip of the
hood, just above the 2-section honeycomb racing grill with an
official Shelby Snake emblem on the driver's side. The painted,
custom front bumper has a third section of honeycomb grill flanked
by fog lights and cooling vents. At the very bottom of the front
end is a black chin spoiler with "Shelby" lettering at the center.
Taken as a whole, the view from the front is downright intimidating
- and we think that's exactly what Shelby had in mind! Moving
around to the side of the truck the stunning good looks continue.
Some eye-catching features include painted fender flares, 4-piece
body side ground effects, Shelby rocker panel graphics, functional
front fender vents with Shelby logo, deep tinted windows, dual
heated power-fold exterior mirrors, red Shelby brake caliper
covers, and 22" chrome 6-spoke Shelby wheels with snake emblem
centercaps wrapped in Hankook Ventus ST tires. Around back you'll
find Shelby lettering on the tailgate and both sides of the bed, a
painted tonneau cover, a Shelby bed rug liner, painted custom rear
bumper cladding, wrap-around tail lights, dual polished SST exhaust
tips, and a hideaway tailgate step. Under the hood of the Super
Snake is the same 5.0 liter V-8 that came in an F-150, but with
some important horsepower boosting additions. Among the performance
enhancements are a Shelby-engineered 750hp supercharger, a Shelby
Performance Programmer tuned to 750hp, upgraded high-performance
fuel injectors and spark plugs, upgraded Billet throttle body,
oversized carbon fiber air intake tube, an open-air performance
intake with high-flow filter, and an aluminum heat exchanger. Some
other engine highlights include fresh Ford Blue powder-coating on
the blower and the intake, Shelby-tuned Borla exhaust, Shelby
registry engine plaque, and a 36 gal. extended range fuel tank. The
powerful V-8 is mated to an electric 6-speed "select-shift"
automatic transmission with tow mode and a 3:73 electronic locking
rear axle. As you might imagine, this 4X4 truck is more than ready
to put its power to use and do some towing. To that end, it is
equipped with tow hooks, a class 4 trailer hitch with smart-trailer
tow connector, trailer tow monitoring, curve control, trailer sway
control, and pro-trailer back-up assist. When you open the driver's
door you're greeted by an immaculately kept, well-designed interior
full of high-end creature comforts and safety features. The
driver's door houses controls for power windows, power locks, power
mirrors, and seat memory with 3 pre-sets. All doors feature
multiple storage areas and a speaker, and all have a grab handle
just ahead of the door. The front bucket seats are dressed in black
leather with Shelby Snake embroidery on the headrests and both are
fully power-adjustable as well as heated and cooled. Between the
seats is a wide center console topped with black leather with grey
stitching and adorned with an official Shelby Snake emblem at the
center. The console storage box is quite large and has a
quick-access sliding tray at the top. Ahead of the box are a
leather-wrapped gearshift (with side buttons for manual shifting
ability) with a leather boot, 2 cup holders, and a hidden storage
box with a slide-back top and 2 USB ports inside to link to the
"Sync" system. Ahead of the driver is a heated, leather-wrapped
steering wheel with electronic tilt and telescopic adjustability.
On the steering wheel are controls for the adaptive cruise control,
phone, and stereo. There are also controls for the display screen
located straight ahead in the center of the instrument cluster.
This display offers a trip computer, onboard diagnostics, and a
settings screen. This screen is flanked by a digital speedometer
and tachometer and there are gauges for oil, temp, fuel, and
battery above it. The dash is composed of a mixture of materials
including the black leather with grey stitching that appears
throughout the interior. In the center of the dash is an 8"
(touchscreen) productivity screen with different tabs for Audio,
Climate, Phone, Nav, Apps, and Settings. This screen serves as a
back-up camera and 360-degree camera. Beneath the screen is a Sony
AM/FM/CD stereo with Sirius satellite radio. Beneath the stereo
controls are the dual-zone climate controls that offer hot heat and
ice-cold A/C on demand. To the left of this are controls for the 2
and 4-wheel-drive functions as well as those for the trailer
back-up control. To the right you'll see both 110 volt and 12 volt
receptacles. Ahead of the passenger is a Shelby Registry CSM serial
# plaque mounted on the dash with a glovebox beneath it. The
glovebox is home to the original owner's manual, factory window
sticker, and Shelby window sticker. Above head you'll find a
twin-panel moonroof with sunshade, moonroof controls, sunglass
storage box, map lights, auto-dimming rear view mirror, and dual
visors with lighted vanity mirrors and 3 "Home" controls (for
garage door, lights, security, etc.). The 3 passenger rear seating
area is spacious and well-appointed with the same stitched leather
as up front. The rear bench is a 60/40 fold-up style for greater
storage possibilities. The side rear seats are heated and there is
a fold-down armrest with cup holders in the center (absent the 3rd
passenger). There are dual air vents, 2 USB ports, 1-12 volt and
1-110 volt receptacle, and controls for the heated seats in the
center on the back of the console. There is some additional storage
in pouches on the back of the front seats. Perhaps the coolest
features of the rear of the cab is the power sliding rear window
with defrost and privacy tint. Back in the carpeted bed you'll find
LED box lighting and tie-down hooks. This truck isn't all just good
looks and brute power, it's also loaded with safety features like
ABS brakes, a fail-safe cooling system, multiple airbags, SOS
post-crash alert system, tire pressure monitoring system, reverse
sensing system, and LED side mirror spotlights - just to name a
few. This truck is the perfect combination of great looks,
