by Alfa Romeo Factory Heritage Operations.
Between 1958 and 1962 a total of 1,366 Sprint Speciales were
produced. The dynamic and highly stylized Sprint Speciale was a
spin-off of the radical BAT series cars.
According to Alfa factory files, this Sprint Speciale chassis
number AR 177324 corresponds to an Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint
Speciale (101.20), engine series AR 00120 and was manufactured on
the 31st January 1962 and sold to its first owner on the 10th
February 1962 in Padua, Italy, in its current color
combination.
This Sprint Speciale was the subject of a comprehensive restoration
completed in 2008-2009 with limited mileage since. It has garnered
several concours awards since restoration and remains in excellent
condition in all areas.
