1953 Ford Crestline Victoria
Ford's 50th Anniversary Edition with Coronado deck option
Very thorough restoration completed in February of 1990 with photos, original 239 flathead and Ford-O-Matic auto transmission that runs extremely strong and smoothly. Still running a 6 Volt electrical system which works great and has never given any issues, when not in use battery sits on a 6 volt maintainer. Nothing missing from vehicle, all original glass with no chips or scratches, all its original chrome with no scratches or dents/dings. Only non original items on the car is a small electric fuel pump with a hidden toggle switch to negate vapor lock (doesn’t need pump on to start or run) and triple row aluminum radiator that allows the flathead to run at nice steady temps even idling in traffic on a 95 degree summer day. Original radiator will come with the car along with a lot of small parts I’ve collected over the years just to have on hand while I could still get them (original factory wiring, light sockets, engine bay rubber bits, thermostats etc) Includes origianl bill of sale.
Flathead runs extremely well and I always get comments at car shows about how smooth and quiet it idles.
Transmission shifts smoothly and correctly and has never given me any trouble and neither engine or trans give any indication of current or coming problems (FWIW I am a Master Technician, Vehicle was my Fathers and I’ve enjoyed just keeping it in the best period correct condition possible)
Interior is in great shape. Seats, headliner, door panels etc have no rips or scuffs. Dash has no cracks, Original AM radio still works well
Exterior paint has no scratches or defects
Happy to answer any questions, price is firm but near offers are considered. Reason for selling is really down to to many other cars and this one deserves to be enjoyed and paraded around more often than I have time to accommodate.
