This was originally a southern car, undergoing a ground-up professional restoration in Detroit. It was designed to be a knock-off "pretty" clone of a Shelby GT 350 Notchback Group II SCCA Racer, with some "Eleanor". The paint is sound. It is a pearlized, midnight blue contrasted to a black-on-black interior.
This car is fast. It handles well. It shifts very well and a real charm on those curvy, hilly, secondary highways. It has Armstrong Steering and manual brakes - It is loud and can become louder if the cut-outs are opened. It runs well on regular but premium is the nectar on these HP motors.
Zoom Zoom ... This car may not be one-of-a-kind, but you will be very hard-pressed to find another like it.
Approx 3,000 total on restoration: (ie: ~ 1500 on old odometer and new Dakota Digital odometer has 1487.showing). Vehicle is clean; it is solid; it is straight; and essentially rust free. Paint is very nice and sound. It scoots and it’s a hoot to drive.
