Billet Specialties polished aluminum wheels Tubbed rear end This
frame off restored 1962 Chevrolet Bel Air resto-mod bubbletop is
powered by a GM crate 350ci Ram Jet fuel-injection engine,
serpentine belt system with aluminum pulleys, mated to a 4L60E
4-speed overdrive automatic transmission with GM Connect & Cruise
control. It is equipped with a new aluminum radiator, new GM wiring
and a rebuilt rear end. This Bel Air has QA1 coilovers up front
with trailing arms in the rear, with front and rear sway bars. It
rolls on 18-inch front and 20-inch rear Billet Specialties wheels,
body has been tubbed for the large rear wheels. Stopping has been
supplied by four wheel CCP power disc brakes with chrome master
cylinder. The driveline has less than 5,000 miles since completion.
The interior is the original Bel Air style, with the bench seat
replaced by 1962 SS bucket seats. Ciadella Interiors created the
custom covers to maintain the classic '62 feel. Lots of minor
little custom touches in the interior like custom rear package
tray, full length console with cup holders and built in radio
remote, hidden radio in glove box, custom gauges in the dash, cool
vintage tachometer(works but inaccurate). Two spoke chevy steering
wheel rounds out the package. Wipers delete package. Beautiful
Mirror Gloss Pepper White from a 2004 BMW 850 finish the exterior
sex appeal with all the chrome polished or replaced. Lowered cars
many times ride rough and bottom out but this car rides great!. A
great cruiser ready to gather awards!!
