This 2008 Ford Shelby GT500 is powered by a supercharged 5.4-liter
DOHC V8 engine factory-rated at 500hp, mated to a TREMEC 6060
6-speed manual transmission. It is equipped with long-tube headers,
a 3-inch X-pipe and a 2.5-inch MagnaFlow cat-back exhaust, as well
as an aluminum driveshaft, Strange 33-spline spool, Strange
long-stud 33-spline axles and a Ford Racing 3.73 gear. This GT500
has many upgrades, including an underdrive blower pulley with MGW
Shelby spec shifter, tubular K-frame and A-arms, rear K-member
reinforcement bar, upgraded spring and bushings, Flaming River
steering rack, lightweight race brakes with front power stop rotors
and Hawk brake pads, SLP line lock kit, Ford Racing harmonic
balancer and C&R intercooler. The interior features black
leather bucket seats and a trunk-mounted Kincaid Killer Chiller.
