Example Garage Kept Motors is very privileged to offer for sale
this stunning 2022 Shelby GT500 Heritage Edition. This modern
rendition of the Shelby was inspired by the 1967 Shelby GT500
Mustang, one of the most powerful Mustangs and performance vehicles
produced during that era. This current iteration of the Shelby line
doesn't disappoint either, being the most powerful road car Ford
has ever produced. The performance of this GT500 rivals that of
European exotics and supercars and proudly doing so under an
American Muscle moniker. While extremely high-powered these are
revered to be remarkably well-mannered and easy to drive even when
used as a daily driver. As this is a limited production performance
vehicle with only 839 miles on the clock and taking into
consideration the outstanding condition this vehicle has been kept
in, this Shelby is a prime example of a collector-grade vehicle
with the potential to be an excellent investment. Finished in
Brittany Blue with Wimbledon White vinyl stripes, the exterior of
this Shelby has been well cared for and the finish shines with a
deep luster and presents as showroom fresh. There are several
design elements that are a nod to the Mustang's performance
heritage including the rally stripes running from the locking hood
across the fastback roofline to the rear deck adorned with a
spoiler as well as the GT side striping. The sequential turn
signals are also a long-running signature Ford feature that has
been updated with LED lights and which also illuminate the
signature lamps and markers. Other options include power sport side
mirrors and a rearview camera. Inside the cockpit of this road
rocket the theme of meticulous care continues with the interior
showing little if any wear. The interior is decorated throughout
with callouts to the GT500 trim and includes black floor mats that
feature an embroidered Shelby logo. Shelby-specific Recaro
leather-trimmed seats feature heated/cold cushions and six-way
power adjustment function. The carbon fiber instrument panel trim
frames a configurable 12 fully digital gauge cluster. A B&O
Sound System powers a 12-speaker system with a
voice-activated-touchscreen Navigation system that includes the
Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) with cross-traffic alert. The
leather-wrapped steering wheel features finger controls for the
entertainment system and the cruise control. The steering column
features tilt and telescopic function along with paddle shifters to
allow manual shifting of the seven-speed transmission and the fixed
rear fastback window features an electric defroster. Under the hood
sits a supercharged 5.2-liter V8 producing 760hp and 600 lbs.-ft.
of torque and is equipped with an engine oil cooler. The engine
compartment is clean and well detailed looking much like it did
when it rolled off the Flat Rock assembly line. Power is
transferred to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and
back to the fully independent rear suspension with 3.73:1 gears
with a mechanical limited-slip differential. The underbody of the
car is equally clean with the factory assembly markings and decals
still present. This Shelby features electronic power steering, and
the suspension is enhanced with Ford's MAGNA-ride dampening system.
The power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes feature Brembo calipers
with four-wheel ABS. A set of 20X11 five-spoke aluminum wheels are
wrapped with Michelin Pilot Sport r
