The Spitfire is a pro street chopper hand built by Thunder Mountain Customs and titled as a Thunder Mountain. This was a project overseen by Harley-Davidson and the quality and workmanship is of the same if not better quality than anything titled as such. Named after a World War II fighter plane, it features a raked neck with a low 23” seat height, a massive 240mm rear, an incredible paint job and a list of chrome longer than your arm. The heart of this bad boy is a performance built 1250cc Screamin’ Eagle V-Twin engine mated to a 5-speed gearbox. It is fed via a heavy breather and sounds just plain nasty ripping through its custom 2-into-1 performance exhaust. It also has the quick release passenger seat and back rest that comes off with two clicks and leaves almost no trace of having had been there when removed. Everything on this beauty is chrome billet or custom painted and it is in perfect condition. It has just 3,493 miles and is in pristine condition. It was serviced less than 100 miles ago at which time it received a new front tire and a new battery. If you have been looking for a chopper sanctioned by Harley-Davidson you know they are hard to come by so if you like what you see don’t wait until it’s too late to reach out!
