1973 Chevrolet Camaro RS Z28 in New Orleans, Louisiana
This 1973 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 RS LT custom coupe is powered by a
BluePrint supercharged 427ci LS V8 engine boasting 822hp at the
crank and 793hp crank torque, paired with a TREMEC T56 Magnum
6-speed manual transmission. It is equipped with a Wegner pulley
system, Centerforce clutch, hydraulic clutch assembly, hydro-boost
master cylinder, Ford 9-inch rear end with 3.50-gear posi-traction,
and Chris Alston's Chassisworks front frame and rear suspension.
Stopping power is provided by 4-wheel 14-inch Wilwood disc brakes.
It has all stainless or braided lines and American Auto wiring.
This Z/28 is finished in House of Kolor silver and burgundy paint
with an R&M clear coat. The exterior is equipped with all-new
glass and Eddie Motorsports hood hinges, and the car rides on
Schott rims with Toyo tires. The custom red and gray leather
interior by Jeff Elwood features Dakota Digital gauges, Vintage Air
and an Ididit steering column. Built by Classic Performance, LLC
out of Ohio, this no-expense-spared, frame-off restoration took 6
years to complete.
