Vehicle Description
This custom 1958 Chevrolet Corvette convertible was professionally
built with a brand-new GM LS3 crate engine. It features
Corvette-style valve covers, Ultimate headers and a Borla stacked
injection system with a Holley Terminator engine management system.
It is paired with a 4L60E automatic transmission that was
professionally built to 4L70E standards. It features an Art
Morrison chassis that has both independent front C7 and rear
suspensions, with a fully adjustable ride height and RideTech
coilovers. Stopping power is provided by an electric braking system
featuring Wilwood brakes with 6-piston front calipers, 14-inch
rotors and stainless-steel brake lines. It rides on one-off custom
wheels made to look like the original hubcaps, featuring shaved red
line tires for a custom appearance. It has power rack & pinion
steering, a Tanks Inc. gas tank with a Walbro fuel pump, custom
Current Performance wiring harness, a Holley Terminator computer,
electrically activated hidden automatic hood ram, Dakota Digital
VHX gauges and LED lighting throughout. The frame was powder-coated
in a tasteful gray contrast color, while the body is all-original
and was completely stripped with glass beads before being finished
in PPG Black water-based paint and Global High Solids clear. The
same attention to detail was performed on the bottom side of the
car, which was painted with a bed-liner material. The interior,
done in a rich red leather, features double stitching and concaved
custom seats for a truly custom appearance with a hand-stitched
custom billet steering wheel. This interior also includes a
brand-new stereo with a large 9-inch screen with Bluetooth,
amplifier and six speakers. It has features Vintage Air with custom
air conditioning vents integrated below the dash. The convertible
top was completely restored in a Stayfast material matching the
black exterior color. It was just completed in March 2023, with
only test miles driven.
