Receipts for Work & Improvements to the Willys Sedan since my ownership can be provided
First off, I am not mechanical person. I just like driving classic cars in my old age. The list of modifications and restoration made by the previous owner is listed the ad. He finished the project about 11-12 years ago and it was in award winning condition at that time. He then decided to enjoy the driving experience of this Willys. I have the car for over a more of a year and had a mechanic (with a lot of classic car experience) fix a couple of issues - converted the AC/H to a legal refrigerant and repaired the driver side door handle.
This not a “Garage Queen Show Car”. It a very enjoyable "Driving Street Rod". It handles well on the highway - cruising smoothly at 60 - 65 mph. It has more in it, but I am not interested in finding its max at my age. It gets plenty of thumbs-ups and positive comments during my intown drives. However, up close you can see the nicks and chips (mostly touched up) from daily use. I am only putting this out there because of my wife's health problems. I will continue to enjoy driving this Willys until another classic lover decides he/she wants to give this Black Beauty a new home/garage.
