Introduced in 1979, the 3rd generation Mustang was built on the
'Fox' platform. The '87 model year received an exterior facelift
with the 'SVO' aero treatment, body side-skirting and 15"x7 Turbo
alloy wheels. This virtually original 1988 Mustang GT is a nice
example of this Gen3 'Hoss'. The factory Oxford White exterior is
in very good condition as is the power-assisted deep blue soft-top.
The original interior has been well cared for. Sport seats are
upholstered in White leather and the GT is well optioned with cold
A/C, power-tinted windows, tilt wheel, power locks and a Sony
AM/FM/CD sound system. The Mustang is powered by a Windsor 302ci V8
rated at 225HP and 300lb/ft of torque with factory 9.2:1
compression, forged aluminum pistons and E7TE performance heads. It
is equipped with EFI fuel injection and is backed by a T-5 manual
gearbox (5-speed) and an 8.8" Trak-Lok differential. The chassis is
equipped with power rack/pinion steering and power brakes (front
disc 10.8"/rear drum 9.0"). Front suspension is independent
MacPherson struts and the rear is 4-bar link w/coil springs with
front/rear sway bars. This well-maintained Mustang GT ragtop will
not be here long. Come take a closer look at this Blue Oval
classic. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS".
