1954 Chevrolet Pickup. Original engine was a 216 c.i.d in-line 6
cyl. It has been upgraded to a 235 c.i.d, so more performance parts
are more readily available. It is a 3 speed, manual, column shift
(3 on the tree) transmission and the transmission has a leak. The
motor runs strong and smooth, but does smoke a bit. Decreases when
driven more frequently. The cooling system is excellent, so no
worries on hot days. In the 5 year I've been taking care of this
truck it has only failed to start once, due to a dead battery. It
still has the original, working, 'floor' starter pedal assembly. It
still has the original emergency brake pedal assembly, that is
functional. The windows operate fully and smoothly. The vent window
locks are proper and tight. The front brakes have been upgraded to
Disc and the rears are still drum. The electrical system is now 12
volt, with alternator and has a full array of aftermarket modern
gauges. (water temp., oil press., voltage and fuel). The speedo is
the only gauge that is inoperative. It has good tires and the
clutch has no issues. This truck drives very well for an original
1954 vehicle!! Drive and Show it like it is or make more
modifications to your liking. It has no A/C or Power Windows or
Radio. Please Note The Following **Vehicle Location is at our
