It's great to find a 1956 Ford Customline that has a ton of
authenticity. You see it everywhere from the engine bay to the
fender skirts over the whitewalls. So you know something this
distinct is an instant crowd pleaser. In fact, Ford had one of the
best overall designs in '56. The side trim was particularly
attractive this year with two sporty overlapping broad strokes to
cover the full length of the car. It's presented so crisply on a
car with smooth panels, good gaps, and exceptionally preserved
brightwork. And the quality application of the blue paint has that
ideal 1950s bright optimism. There's even an entire sea of blue
waiting for you inside. There's a proper vintage style, right down
to the clean glass and Ford family crest on the steering wheel.
There are well-done updates like the cup holder console and
retro-style AM/FM/cassette stereo, but those are just to make this
a better cruiser. After all, a well-kept V8-powered classic Ford is
meant to be enjoyed.

For many, this was the year to have a classic Ford. The styling was
amplified over the previous year to add emphasis to details like
the chrome grille and Thunderbird-style tail lights. So it was a
more impressive cruiser. And what also made it a better cruiser was
that this was the dawn of the OHV V8 era. This 272 cubic-inch motor
looks fantastically authentic with the red block, Ford valve
covers, and big Oil Bath air grabber with callouts. But the best
feature of this powerhouse is the solid torque it continues to
deliver today to keep this feeling like a nice boulevard driver.
Plus, power steering, a three-speed automatic transmission, and a
hint of V8 tune from the dual exhaust give this vintage cruiser
plenty of appeal. So the only way this all-blue Ford will make you
feel blue is if you miss this deal. Call today!!!
