1959 Ford Thunderbird Convertible - Great driver, largely original, garage kept, owner for last 9+ years (kids are all mostly grown up so life changes). Original red paint in good shape considering its age though there is some chipping around the hood scoop and minor elsewhere. Chrome is largely in great shape. Tires were replaced a few years ago and have plenty of tread left. Some of the interior was restored before I bought it (maybe 15-20 years ago) - leather / cloth seats, interior fabric, speakers, trunk lining. Leather is all in great shape, and the hydraulics for the white, soft-top roof were upgraded at that time - also works great. Dash chrome / leather / etc all in good shape and I installed seat belts / mats for all 5 seats for the kids. Manual windows / seats. Engine - 8-cyl, 300-hp, 352cid V8 with Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission runs fine. Just had an oil change and fresh battery installed, brakes are fine. 95,073 miles. Lights work. Downsides - passenger window is cracked, radio, windshield wipers don’t work. Have original user manual and title in hand.
