This is a brand new restoration just finished by someone that
specializes in Mustangs. It looks like a new car, even if you peek
underneath! It is a gorgeous looker and it has all the features you
want including air conditioning.
EXTERIOR: Completely rust free, damage free clean body. It doesn't
have any emblems for clean look. Repainted Silver Frost with a very
glossy clear coat finish. All of the exterior trim including
bumpers, grill, correct antenna, windshield moldings, mirrors,
handles, tail lights, gas cap etc were all new. The power black
convertible top is new. The weather strips and windshield were
replaced. It's sitting on a beautiful set of 17 inch US Mag wheels
with performance tires.
INTERIOR: It's new in here too. Fresh black carpet, embroidered
mats and a new shifter on the floor. The seats have been
recushioned and upholstered. New seat belts front and back. New
door panels, armrests and handles. In front of me the entire dash
looks new, custom steering wheel. It has a retro stereo and owner's
manual in the glove box.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It looks like a brand new motor compartment,
probably because it is! The 289 engine runs great, on top is an
Edelbrock aluminum intake with a polished Brawler four barrel carb.
Dressed up with new chrome valve covers and the HiPo air cleaner.
It has a new air conditioning system. Upgraded Borgeson power
steering and a modern power brake system with a dual reservoir
master cylinder. Also upgraded with an aluminum radiator. All the
other components like the alternator, relay, distributor, hoses and
horns look new. It has an Autolite battery topper and the Ford
washer fluid bag is hooked up to the squirters. The entire engine
bay is painted gloss silver.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is clean metal painted silver. The
weatherstrip and well liner are new, it also has matching plaid mat
and tire cover over the spare.
UNDERSIDE: All the front end steering and suspension looks brand
new. Rear suspension is new including the springs, bushings and
upgraded Koni gas shocks. The fuel system is new including the
tank, sending unit and fuel lines. The brake system has been
completely replaced and upgraded with disc in front, the e-brake
assembly is hooked up. New dual exhaust with aluminized pipe and GT
tips through the valance. Looking up at the motor it looks new, has
a chrome fuel pump and new starter. The C-4 automatic is clean. The
rear end looks restored. All the metal is rock solid: the floors,
torque boxes and frame rails. There's no rust under this car at
all, it's been cleaned and painted. It looks new underneath.
SERVICE: We inspected the car and had to put the rear passenger
window back on the track
CONCLUSION: This is a beautiful vintage Mustang with some nice
modern upgrades. They don't get any fresher!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for
virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant
amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my
professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure
your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do
a walk around video that explains the car's condition in
detail.
**These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a
particular car make an appointment with a salesman to see that car.
Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the
showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded and you
