Vehicle Description
Gateway Classic Cars of San Antonio/Austin is very happy to offer
this stunning 1967 Sunbeam Alpine finished in Black paint with twin
Shelby-style racing stripes. This iconic British sports car is a
true testament to the era of pure, unadulterated driving pleasure.
The Alpine was derived from the Sunbeam-Talbot 90 saloon and has
become colloquially known as the "Talbot" Alpine. Under the hood,
you'll find a 1725CC 4 Cylinder engine mated to a 4-speed manual
transmission. This combination offers a driving experience that's
both engaging and rewarding, with the kind of performance that made
the Sunbeam Alpine a favorite among driving enthusiasts. The front
bucket seats were reupholstered in black vinyl with matching door
panels, dash and carpets and features a Moto-Lita floor shifter,
and a lockable center console. The Moto-Lita steering wheel fronts
instrumentation that includes a 120-mph Jaeger speedometer, a
tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges consisting
of battery amps, oil pressure, coolant temperature, fuel level and
a clock. The five-digit odometer shows 6600 miles although total
mileage is unknown. This 1967 Sunbeam Alpine is a beautiful blend
of classic British design, engaging performance, and thoughtful
features. It's a car that's sure to turn heads wherever it goes,
and one that offers a truly unique driving experience.
