Vehicle Description
1989 Ford Festiva L runs very well with no issues. Completely gone
through with nothing left untouched. Starts, runs and drives great!
Plenty of zip and handles very well. The only quirk with the
Festiva is the 1-2 shift when cold. You need to be gentle on that
first 1-2 shift in the morning and then it's fine. The transmission
has been gone through 3 times trying to resolve this issue.
Adjustments have been made and its received fresh fluid and filter
each time. Inside the transmission looks like new. It's an odd
quirk that's easy to live with, but I want the new owner to be
aware. Fantastic daily driver. Original paint is showing its age.
Two areas of rust on each rear wheel well lip where dirt/moisture
get trapped. Various scratches and dents are shown in pictures.
Having said this, it's still a very nice, clean, solid Festiva.
Interior very clean with no issues. Never smoked in or used to haul
pets. Recent Service, Repair & Replacement Work: New Tires (x4)
