Vehicle Description
July 27th, 2014, a beautiful sunny Sunday in Indianapolis Indiana,
the green flag fell on a field of 46 NASCAR stock cars for the
start of the 21st Brickyard 400. One hundred and sixty laps later,
the checkered flag fell on Jeff Gordon, celebrating the win twenty
years after winning the inaugural Brickyard 400 race. Present that
day at the track was the Camaro you see cataloged here. Car number
15 of 50 Festival Cars modified by Nickey Performance for hot laps
at the track. In preparation for track day duty, this Camaro
received a Rotofab cold air intake, ported throttle body, high lift
VVT camshaft, Nickey Performance headers, full 3-inch chambered
exhaust, a Tracy Lewis oil catch can, and a custom tune to pull as
many horses out of the modifications as possible. This
high-performance Camaro received official markings for track day
and still wears those to this day, including its number 15 on the
windshield. This is truly a piece of automotive and NASCAR history.
Not just a vinyl tape and stripe job like some pace car replicas,
this Camaro has the bite to back up its bark. And boy is that bark
loud and clear, hiding nothing about its performance capabilities
when you press down on the right pedal. This Camaro has been
lovingly cared for, garaged, and is in showroom condition. It would
make a great weekend show car but could also be used for daily
transportation if you so desired. Fully customized inside and out,
you can buy it today, and take home a best of show trophy tonight.
