1971 Datsun 240z Series 1 with L28et Engine and 5 speed transmission.
The engine is an L28ET with an F54 block and P90 head from a 280zx turbo. The head has been ported and polished, has Nismo valve springs, and a Cometic MLS headgasket.
The turbo is a Garret T3/T4. The oil pan is an Arizona Z Car cast aluminum 7 quart pan with trap doors to prevent oil starvation. The ECU is a Jim Wolf Technology tuned 300zx ECU. The listed 23,000 miles is the mileage since the engine was assembled.
The rest of the driveline consists of 280zxt Borg Warner T5 transmission, Hurst short throw shifter, 280zxt clutch-type limited slip differential, and 280zxt axles.
Brakes have been upgraded to discs on all 4 wheels, with 4 piston calipers on the front and 240sx calipers on the rear. Rubber brake lines have been replaced with braided stainless lines.
The wheels are vintage Panasports wrapped in 225/45R15 BF Goodrich G-Force Rival tires.
The suspension is completely redone using Techno Toy Tuning (T3) Parts and includes:
Evolved front and rear coil-over conversions with Hyper springs, camber plates that are fully adjustable. It is also equipped with front and rear lower control arms from T3, tension control arms and high tension tie rods. Front and rear sway bars are also upgraded to T3.
The entire suspension has been finely tuned and adjusted by a race shop in Orlando (Dynasty Auto). As such it rides like a go-kart yet still maintains drivability off the track.
It has a brand new custom stainless exhaust system that makes it sound wonderful and offers free flow to the engine.
Front lights have been converted to very high quality HDR halo lights from Dapper Lights offering built in switchback turn signals and projector headlights for night time driving experiences better than most modern cars.
The interior has original 240z seats, period correct Personal brand steering wheel, rear strut tower brace, Autometer gauges The only downsides to the interior is that there is some wear on the steering wheel.
The paint needs some work, but the body is in great shape with no rust. Dog legs under doors have been replaced with new weld-in parts and other minor issues have been addressed. Te wheel well and under side of car is treated with POR 15 rust protection. The car is newly wrapped in 3M high quality vinyl with 1 year full warranty until August 2024 and 7 years warranty on materials. Underneath the wrap there are minor paint issues, and if the wrap comes off I would suggest a respray. The original color is Sunburst Yellow. Overall the body looks good but it will need some work if you want to bring it to concours condition.
The car was dyno tuned at Niced Up Motorsports. The video of the dyno run can be seen here:

The car weighs ~2300lbs and makes over 300hp at the wheels. It's an absolute blast to drive and always gets positive attention around town.
