Body off frame on a rotisserie custom build. All steel, real 1933
Plymouth. Only 2,000 miles since finished.
EXTERIOR: This is an original all steel body five window coupe with
suicide doors. It has the ribbed all metal roof. Professionally
redone, it fits right, it's straight as an arrow, no rust or
damage. Painted a mirror finish, gloss black. A little touch of old
school red pinstripes gives a little pop. New lightly smoked glass.
Real sharp looking set of 15 inch chrome wheels wrapped in Cooper
tires, fatter in the back.
INTERIOR: Eye popping red interior. Comfortable sport seats with
Plymouth embroidered on them. The entire inside of the car is
upholstered to match. In front of me is a clean dash with a matched
set of Stuart Warner gauges. Hand crafted lower panel has the a/c
controls. Someone did a great job painting the faux wood trim. Down
on the floor is red carpet, a custom console with a Locar shifter,
a working clock and the switches for the power windows and locks.
It also has a Locar emergency brake handle. The tilt column is
wearing a real sharp looking steering wheel. It has working
interior lights and power deadbolts to keep those suicide doors
from flying open.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The Chevy 350 was rebuilt and bored by Stuart
Performance Engineering. It's bored to a 355, on top is an
Endurashine intake with an Edelbrock carb that has electric choke.
It also has an HEI ignition system and a set of coated headers.
It's dressed up with chrome valve covers and air cleaner. An
aluminum radiator with polished overflow bottle and an electric fan
keeps it cool. The Vintage Air keeps the passengers cool.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It has a power lift trunk lid; bottom of the lid
is painted glossy. It has a new weatherstrip. Inside is boxed and
upholstered with a carpeted floor.
UNDERSIDE: Up front is a drop axle with tubular trailing arms and
transverse leaf spring. In back it has a four link setup with
tubular control arms and adjustable coil over shocks. Custom
exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers and aluminum Magnaflow tips. All
custom brake system with disc in front, it has a power brake
booster under the car. Looking up at the motor it has a polished
finned aluminum oil pan. Chrome fuel pump and starter. The Turbo
350 automatic has a matching finned aluminum flywheel cover and
trans pan. It also has an aluminum remote oil cooler. A custom
drive shaft leads back to 9 inch rear. All the metal floors and
chassis are clean and painted black.
SERVICE: Our shop inspected the car and charged the a/c, repaired
the horn, transverse leaf spring back it has a four link setup with
tubular control arms and adjustable coil over shocks installed a
wiper kit, lubed the speedometer cable, replaced a brake line and
bled the system.
I think they did a great job building this hot rod, the quality is
high. I also like the choices they made with the colors, wheels,
and features. It's a great looking modern build with an old school
hot rod flavor.
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for
virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant
amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my
professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to
assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are
answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video
that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are
displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an
appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment
there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car,
your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year
membership.
