Vehicle Description

JUST REDUCED!!

This 1972 Mercedes 4.5 V-8 comes with automatic transmission, air conditioning, power windows, brakes, and steering.  It also has an upgraded stereo system.  The exterior is in a distinctive Hunter Green with a black MB Tex interior.  This 280 SE had a re-spray 15 years ago that has held up well.  The interior is in excellent condition with little to no wear.  The carpet was replaced 5 years ago and the floors of this SE were insulated.  No rust anywhere.  This 280 SE has had over 15K in restorations throughout the past 10 years, although not currently a daily driver but it could be.  The window power motors were replaced 15 years ago.  The rear main seal and transmission overhaul was completed 7 years ago at 69K miles.  The new Mercedes gas tank and fuel lines, and injectors were replaced 8 years ago.  The gas tank was one of two available at the time...one was in Hong Kong and the other was in Istanbul Turkey.  The SE is sporting a gas tank from Turkey....Genuine Mercedes part naturally.  The SE is driven weekly to keep things lubricated.  Not a Concours but much nicer than a daily driver.
