1970 CHEVROLET CHEVELLE SS 454 FRAME OFF RESTORED SOUTHERN CAR This
1970 Chevelle is absolutely gorgeous in its original color Cortez
Silver, code 14. The body is gorgeous and very straight down both
sides with great fit and finish. The paint has been color sanded to
a smooth high gloss finish. The black SS stripes are under the
clear coat and smooth to the touch. It sports the very desirable
functional Cowl Induction hood with factory hood pins. All the
stainless and trim are like new. The door handles, mirrors, front
and rear bumpers have been rechromed and look very shiny. It also
has new weather stripping and window seals. The door jambs are
painted nice and have the GM sticker on the drivers door. It has
new headlight bezels, the front grill and SS emblem are like new.
It sits on a set of 15x8 and 15x7 Cragar SS wheels with BFG T/A
radial tires. The red bucket seat interior is new from carpet to
the headliner. The door panels, armrests, window cranks and door
handles are like new. The dash is in excellent shape, no cracks. It
has a factory tach and gauges and the gauge lenses are clear. The
dash pad is nice. It also has a retro AM/FM radio with Bluetooth.
The undercarriage is clean, original floors, no signs of patches
and is rust free. It has a Muncie M21 4-speed transmission, 4 wheel
power disc brakes, all new front suspension, tubular A-Arms, rear
sway bar, newer front and rear shocks and springs. E-brake cables
are all hooked up and working. It also has a new dual exhaust
system that runs all the way out the back with the correct cowbell
tips. There also is a new fuel tank, straps, sending unit, all new
fuel and brake lines and body bushings. The undercarriage is
painted and has a nice satin black finish. The engine compartment
has a completely rebuilt 454 engine with a few performance
upgrades: a little hotter cam with an aggressive sound out the
back, HEI ignition, aluminum intake manifold with Holley carb. and
ceramic coated headers. It has a 4-core aluminum radiator (for
those hot summer days!), Billet aluminum pulleys, power steering,
chrome air cleaner, aftermarket aluminum valve covers and a new
cadmium plated brake booster with new master cylinder. This is a
highly detailed engine compartment painted in a glossy black
finish. The trunk compartment is detailed with a coat of black and
aqua splatter paint, trunk mat, spare tire with SS wheel, complete
jack assembly and jacking instruction decal. This 1970 Chevelle has
the WOW factor with its complementary colors and its big block 454!
